In honor and recognition of Bob Lutz’s long-standing commitment to the Detroit business community, a scholarship has been established in his name.  The Robert A. Lutz HBS Non-Profit Executive Director Scholarship will be funded by proceeds from this dinner and direct contributions.  This scholarship will benefit the Executive Director of a Detroit area non-profit organization who, in recognition of his or her outstanding service, will attend “Strategic Perspectives for Non-Profit Management,” an intensive six-day course presented each summer at the Harvard Business School.

With these scholarships, the Harvard Business School Club of Michigan has sent fifteen non-profit leaders to this program in the past ten years and expects to send four more this summer.  These organizations provide services to more than 350,000 people in Southeastern Michigan.  The program presents significant opportunities for these outstanding and committed non-profit community leaders to expand their skills and contributions, a benefit to all citizens in Southeastern Michigan.

We would be proud to have you join us in partnership for the Non-Profit Executive Director Scholarship and hope you will attend the dinner event on May 6, 2009.  It will be an enjoyable evening as we celebrate the business accomplishments of a pillar in our community.

Both corporate and individual sponsorships, which will be publicly acknowledged, are available.   Corporate sponsorships are $500 and include 2 tickets to the reception; individual sponsorships are $150 and include 1 ticket to the reception.  We encourage you to be a sponsor.   Tickets ($50 each) and sponsorships can be purchased by completing this form or contacting Judith Skiff at (248) 446-8799 or judithskiff@att.net.

Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
