Networking through a difficult economy has important differences in comparison to conducting a job search when times are good. Though taking charge of your career is always a good idea regardless of the economic landscape.

Please join Al Cotrone, Director of Career Services and Student Affairs at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, as he presents his thoughts on career development at any stage.  Al will share resources available to alumni of the Ross School and discuss tips and suggestions for successfully navigating the 2010 job market. This "best practices" workshop will highlight what works and what doesn't as you navigate your career path. Attendees will discover a career development framework which can be applied at any stage of your career.  In particular, the workshop promises to be helpful for those wanting to refine their career development process and is not just a "find a job" workshop.

You Should Attend If You Are:

  • thinking of finding a new position
  • comfortably ensconced in that great job
  • feel its time to move on to the next career stage
  • recently downsized
  • looking to land the perfect starter job

The evening's schedule is tentatively:

6:30 PM Refreshments and Networking

7:00 PM Al Cotrone's Interactive Workshop
